Just the way to start the New Year

As usual, the girls woke up and came into our room at what seemed to be way too early, since it was still dark, and woke us up. We looked at the clock and it wasn't that early, in fact it was nearly 8am. Immediately I jumped out of bed and check to see if Charlotte is dry. If she is dry, like she was this morning, then I wisk her off to sit on the potty. Today she sat down without a fight then I crawled back into my warm bed a few steps away to cuddle with Bella. A few minutes later Charlotte squeals, "Pee pee, poo poo in the potty!" Bella jumps out of our bed to check things out and sure enough she had done both in the potty. That has to be an encouraging way to start out the new year. Maybe she has made a resolution to be potty trained. Well, the rest of the day didn't continue with the same sucess of the morning, but we keep trying.
