Charlotte chose Minnie Mouse to round out the birthday season in our house this year. I prefer a more generic theme, but I found a way to make it sophiscated while still representing the Minnie Mouse theme that Charlotte so desperately wanted.

                                      

I made the Minnie ears and the masks.

The girls decorated their masks with feathers and sequence.

They decorated their own cupcakes.

Time to sing Happy Birthday.

Our 2nd Honeymoon Part II: Lisbon, Portugal

Many of the streets in Lisbon are like those of San Francisco steep.  Trolley is the best way to navigate these streets especially if you are tired from walking.

Our trip summed up in a handful of pictures.  We realize that it will be a very long time before we can do a big trip by ourselves again; however we look foward to our next European Vacation with our children who will be old enough to enjoy and remember the experience.

 Ribbon Day: This is her 4th ribbon

4th Annual Big Wheel Race

This the 4th year that our neighborhood has a Big Wheel race in August.  It has grown from a few families to hundreds of neighbors coming out to watch and/or participate in this event.  This year the race had sponscors and all the race fees and proceeds from the food sales when to to local familes in need.  This year our girls participated and little man desperately want to but we didn't think his steering skills were controlled enough for the job.  Next year.

There are 3 divisions:

Division I: big wheels 14 and under & 15 and up

Division II:  Semi modified (adults only)

Division III: Modified (any contraption you can get to go down the hill; adults only)
